Location Adeje is a town in the south-west of the Canary Island of Tenerife and lies at an average altitude of 280 metres above sea level. The most important parts of the town are the tourist areas of Costa Adeje with the merged area of Torviscas and Playa Fañabé on the coast. Costa Adeje has grown together with Playa de las Américas in the south, which belongs to the municipality of Arona. A large commercial area is located in the "Los Olivos" area in the north-east of the municipality, close to the TF-1 motorway.
Adeje has a number of buildings and an archaeological site that are protected cultural heritage:
